Did you know today was #WorldDownSyndromeDay? Well as serendipity would have it, I had invited Nelson to come cook with me on Daily Flash TV after meeting him at the WOW Center in Miami. So after rescheduling it once, we ended up taping our segment on this special day. I am so impressed with the center, the staff, his amazing culinary instructor and just the sheer joy that cooking brings to Nelson. It was by far the best and most fun cooking segment I’ve ever done. And a very big thank you to Michael Symon who is just an awesome human.
